After School clubs
Living the Dream can offer youth-led tailored after school clubs for primary and secondary schools in street-dance, drama and performing arts for all age groups! We have worked with over 50 primary and secondary schools.
A Youth-Led Approach
Living the Dream is unique in that it is entirely run by young people. We have found that students respond extremely positively to working in a youth-led environment with more freedom to express themselves and the encouragement to experiment with their own ideas.
All of our workshop leaders are experienced, trained actors and youth leaders age 18-25 with up to date CRB checks.
What We Can Offer
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS: We can offer your school a session of free workshops for all students to take part in with a view to setting up an after school club. Then students who want to take part sign up for the club and they will pay approximately £5 per week and we will do all the admin work! We can also offer lunch-time clubs.
WORKSHOPS: We can offer workshops in street dance, contemporary dance, breakdance, musical theatre and acting. We also run anti-bullying workshops to accompany our 'Voices Within' DVD.
All students will have the opportunity to take part in our showcases!
